New studio assistant (requires training!)
This is Sylvie. She’s going to be my painting companion when she’s a bit older but right now she’s more interested in playing, sitting on my lap, running about, pretending to be a human shadow so people trip over her, and generally distracting me in as many ways as she can find. The pictures I have her are all of her sleeping – it’s the only time she stays still long enough for me to pick up the camera! We’ve provided her with plenty of toys, but of course her favourites are bath mats, tea towels, and socks…
