FEVA at Art in the Mill
FEVA, Knaresborough’s fabulous summer festival is about to start, and I’m thrilled that my three large floral pieces will be on show together at Art in the Mill. They are very different to my landscapes but I really enjoyed doing them, and it’s great to see them all together. I’ve made them into prints as well, and at 36″ x 24″ they are quite substantial!
The inspiration for the paintings came from visits to the RHS gardens in the summer. The flower displays were fantastic; an abundance of beautiful blooms lit by soft summer sun dappling through the trees, a beautiful harmony of colour, light and shade.
