Wrapping up a very strange year

What a testing year this has been for everyone. Lockdown 2.0 was yet another crushing blow to galleries, after they worked so hard to make their venues ‘Covid secure’ and make shoppers feel safe. Nevertheless, they stoically got on with it, providing customers with online options and readying themselves for the flurry of December shoppers. Now, in the final run up to Christmas, everyone is champing at the bit to see the back of this awful year, but who knows what will happen in January, it seems all we can do is just keep picking ourselves back up again and plodding on.

I’m the featured artist at Just Makers Ripley throughout December and January, they’ve got a number of my originals and a good selection of cards and prints. Restrictions permitting, Ripley is a beautiful place to enjoy the festive vibes and do any last minute Christmas shopping.

Art in the Mill in Knaresborough have my full range of prints in stock, they’ve also got some new originals on show as well, including a large canvas of Filey Bay with a very dramatic sky that I really enjoyed painting.

The Great Sheffield Art Show has been run online this year, and it’s continuing until the end of January. I’m exhibiting some of my framed Yorkshire originals, payment can be made online or over the phone, and pieces can be collected from Sheffield, or collected from Wetherby/ delivered within a 20 mile radius of Wetherby.
