Autumn Exhibition at Harrison Lord

I have seven originals in the Autumn Exhibition now on at Harrison Lord, including these pictured. Again I’ve been experimenting and pushing my boundaries, injecting bold splashes of colour and using looser strokes, even scumbling with a palette knife in areas to create expressive pictures that catch the fleeting light dancing across the landscape.

The exhibition is on throughout October, and is well worth a visit. http://www.harrisonlord.co.uk/

These paintings are all distinctly summery but there’s a definite Autumn chill in the air, so I think over the next month I’ll be getting to grips with a more Autumn palette, using rich vibrant reds, earthy browns, and vivid dashes of yellow and orange, capturing the landscape as it warms and mellows into glorious Autumn hues.
